A friend if mine who lives in Ham Lake needs to search for a high end clothing store for a party she is having. Some items will be as gifts and some for herself. Right now she can not find a single one.

She lives far in the north metro. Are there any places that sell really nice clothing in that direction. She would like to avoid going to Southdale or anywhere in that vicinity.

There really aren't any high-end clothing retailers in the North Metro. Her best bet is likely Nordstom at Ridgedale.

Take that back! Near highway 10 and Round Lake BLVD you have Kohl's, Plato's closet, JCP, and Lane Bryant.

In all seriousness, most Amazon.com dresses have generous return policies. My wife orders in several dresses recently and sent back the ones that didn't work out for her. She paid a lot less, tried them on at home, and compared them all side by side versus spending a day shopping driving around town. The selection is 50X more online too. The hassle is returning things. But to her, shopping at a store is more of a hassle.

Aha.

Nice one. A store would bet a better option for her situation. I am probably going to give her a gift receipt it there are anything she wants to return. I am going to tell her that the Galleria her best even if its further away.
