Hi everyone. We are now looking for a rental in the Minneapolis area. My question is - are there any agencies, realtors that can assist in finding rentals and doing the legwork for you based upon your requirements? It seems that for a fee someone/agency would provide this service, but I have not been successful in locating one. Thanks for any help!

I registered here because I saw your request and am looking for the same type of agency, but for a different reason. We have a downtown condo, totally furnished, 1 bedroom 1 bath with underground parking, and are trying to find a renter for up to 18 months. Maybe we can help each other out. Janice Faye

Moving to Minnesota
Hello,
I am moving to the Minneapolis area in June of this year, and I live in Indiana. I am trying to find a rental place and I cannot locate an agency that will help me do that. If you could please pass on the the agency you used or have any other ideas that would be really helpful. Thank you so much!

My last landlord was REI. They have a well-deserved reputation in town as crooks. Expect them to rip you off for your damage deposit with bogus cleanup bills. I had a broken window there for 6 months (stress fracture during the winter), called it in immediately, but they never replaced while I was there - and then charged me for it after I moved out. Other examples abound.
