Has anyone else been bothered by the swarms of sporting event scalpers that I have been plagued with in downtown St. Paul and Minneapolis? I am asked 10-12 times a day now and each day prices are getting lower and lower. Super Bowl tickets with air and hotel going for under $100 each? Twins 2013 season tickets also $100 and under? What's up with that???

I walk through DT Minneapolis every day and have never had that problem. I only see scalpers on game days (Twins or T-Wovles) hanging out on 7th and 1st. Very rarely have they approached me either. Usually just stand there with their signs.

Be careful, here in NYC plenty of scalper scams, especially listing on craigslist, ends up alot are selling bogus tickets, that look official...if you want to buy second hand, do it through an official leauge reseller (I sell my Brooklyn Nets tickets through the Nets website) or Stubhub, it offers protection in case the tickets are bogus.

I also noticed you can't get an airline ticket out of MSP on 12/21/12. What's up with that?

The world is ending so no airlines scheduled flights.....or it's the start of Christmas vacation and people booked flights months ago....

Definitely the world ending.

Or really poor searching skills, since a quick search for flights to Chicago leaving that day and returning on Christmas yielded 300+ options.

But I'm still going to go with the world ending.

Where are you going? I searched Minneapolis to Phoenix (figuring those flights would be packed) and while the seats are expensive, they are available. Go to delta.com and try again.

I only wanted a flight that would stay in the air for 24 hours.
