It's a pretty area, pretty rural but expensive rural area. It's a place where most houses have 2+ acres. It's a 10+ minute drive to most shopping, etc.

Credit River Township has seen a lot of single family home construction in the past decade; the vast majority being homes with a lot of square footage on large lots as golfgal explained. Single family lot sizes in many of the subdivisions are in the 1-to-5 acre range. Very expensive homes.

Heavily wooded and rural feel to the area with a creek called "Credit River" running through it. Beautiful area with a few golf courses too. Most of Credit River is in the Lakeville School District (ISD #194) with students attending Lakeville South High School. Parts of Credit River may be within the Prior Lake - Savage School District as well.

The most reconizable landmark in Credit River Township are the 9-antenna tower's at 44° 38' 48" N, 93° 23' 31" W north of 210th Street, south of 208th Street, west of Boone Avenue and east of Flag Avenue which transmit the radio signal for AM 1130 KTCN-AM. The nine-radio antenna towers have been in that field since 1986 and have transmitted the radio signals for the two previous stations which used to broadcast at 1130 on the AM Dial: Sports Radio KFAN-AM from 1991-2011 and WDGY-AM from 1986-1991. Previous to 1986, the nine WDGY Radio towers were right along the west side I-35W at 102nd street between the 98th street and 106th street exits in Bloomington at the location of their broadcast studio's. Remember when the DJ's would announce the station as WDDDGGGEEE!! back in the top-40 days of the 1950's, 60's and 70's.

Twin Cities News Talk AM 1130 KTCN-AM also broadcasts at 103.5 FM from its translator K279AZ atop the 52-story IDS Center in Downtown Minneapolis.

Pretty nice, some of it is just normal countryside, some of it is upscale housing developments and rich folk. There's some really nice houses in the township and the parts of the cities it borders. If School is of any relevance I attended Lakeville South HS when I lived there and it's a good school, it's only a few years old and the building itself looks really ****ing nice, I remember seeing a few architects touring it a few times.
