I have been living in Plymouth for over 7years and never had any issue with airplanes nor helicopters before. I stay at home most of the day due to a health condition and in the recent year this helicopter noise is so loud it's driving me insane. They seem to fly 4-5times a day even at 3 am. They wake me up almost everynight and I am not a light sleeper. I am beyond annoyed. Does anyone notice this in the northwest suburb? I love where I live other than this I don't want to leave!!

Two nights ago, about 1am over Golden Valley. So I'm not the only one who heard it. They were flying kinda low.

Didn't notice too many of them in the Minneapolis area, but here in Atlanta they seem more frequent.

Did you look in the paper, was there maybe a search for a criminal or missing person going on?

We used to live near a hospital and usually you didn't notice the helicopters as they took a different flight path to avoid residential area, unless it was an extreme emergency then they would fly over our house. It was loud but we also knew why and would say a prayer if that happened.

West Health in Plymouth just expanded their emergency department, I wonder if this is related. I would be surprised if helicopters go there for emergency care but they may be doing a lot of transfers to hospitals via helicopter.
