What mansions can be toured in the Twin Cities other than Hill House?

The Turnblad Mansion, which houses the American Swedish Institute. They've recently added a modern wing. Homepage | American Swedish Institute

You can pretend you are planning a wedding and tour 490 Summit (just kidding but they do hold receptions, etc. there).

Ok sorry next time I will put it all in one comment, haha.

But I believe last year there was some kind of Summit Home Tour and it involved about 10-15 homes that were open to the public. Basically open houses. No guides or anything.

Hennepin History Museum is located in a historic mansion and has a bit of interpretation available, although is not a historic house museum.

Someone already mentioned the Ramsey house, which is my favorite local option! They do a really good job with all of their tours.

Gibbs Farm (and its farmhouse), run by Ramsey County Historical Society, has tours. Not a mansion, though. There are some other smaller historic house museums around, too, but not mansions. Not sure if you're interested in those options, too.

Once you have seen some of the local TC mansions, you should consider taking a trip to Duluth's Glensheen Mansion on Lake Superior. The back story of the wealthy Congdon family that used to own it is interesting and even includes a murder in the mansion that occurred in the 1970's.

+1 on Glensheen. If you haven't been, it's worth seeing.
