I have lived here my whole life and I KNOW I have not experienced half of the great things we have here! I still havent even been to the Spoon, haha. So what are your favorite things to do/places to go or see, outdoors in the summer months?

Waiting for the lakes to thaw..... I wanna go canoeing on lake Calhoun. I had a weather alert on my phone last night saying we are going to get 6-8" of snow..... I think I may have to wait a bit. Sad thing is, in Pittsburgh (where I moved from) it was 71 degrees yesterday (4/8)..... Oooops, I should have waited till next month to move back here LOL.

I'm going to come back to visit in late May/June and September and I'm hoping to spend a lot of time in and around the lakes. The lakes can become your lifeblood and if you ever leave the cities you don't know how to live without them!!

Ditto - I like to take my kayak out most mornings around Lake Phalen, Keller, or the creek between the two if it's windy. Maybe I can cruise around in the little band of open water between the ice and the shore

Hopefully whatever snow falls in the next few days won't stay around too long.

As soon as it gets a bit warmer, I can't wait to get out on my bike. I squeezed in one day last week when it was in the high 40s, but that was only about 10 blocks to run an errand. Would love to be able to bike across the Stone Arch Bridge and then take the Cedar Lake Trail down to the Chain of Lakes and back.
