Pooh-pooh it into the ground and off the ledge, lemming. I don't function like that.

What's your plan to make that happen? It sounds good and looks good on paper, but it's not exactly easy to hash out. The presence of the Mall of America has done terrible things to downtown Minneapolis, which -- believe it or not -- used to be one of the premier street malls in the country.

There are meat markets everywhere, but certainly not in Edina. The best one I've heard of is in Nordeast.

Try Von Hanson's. The one in Bloomington on Normandale Boulevard would be the closest to you.

There's this meat shop in St. Bonifacius that is really authentic. It's about 45 minutes west off of Lake Street, but it's awesome. I used to get my deer processed there when I used to hunt regularly. I can't remember the name exactly...Mackinthugs is the name...I think.

I'm not certain what that is, but there are meat markets where they sell meat all over the place.

*Edit: Aha -- that's the name of a place! Thanks! I thought you were asking me a question about "ready meat", which I've never heard of before....

Here's the one I think I heard was somewhat infamous:

What do I hate most?

The intersection of I 35 and 494 when coming from the south.

( I realize this may be Bloomington, but it is the metro of MPLS )

I agree with you that the Somalis and other immigrants are fine people, and most of them are hardworking.

But, they are changing the state in ways that are not favorable for the people and families that were here before. Every year, there seem to be more people dependent on government; and as Somalis join the voting rolls this will grow. They are not an entrepreneurial people, and that is what Minnesota needs more of.
