Have you gone canoeing at the Rice Creek Chain of Lakes?

Been to Bunker Beach?

Seen/done bike racing at the velodrome at the National Sports Center?

No, it's an "event space" now.

Have you walked the 11 miles of the Minneapolis Skyway system?

Wait a few months and you can go ice fishing on one of many lakes.

Well, there's the freedom from pants bike ride this evening. There are new spots opening up around town: Whittier at 26th & Nicollet has a re-opened Little T's & Glam Doll Donuts on the east side of the street and Eat Street Social & Icehouse on the west. Taprooms in NE have sprouted up rather quickly and Longfellow over around Lake St is finally seeing new spots open up like Parka and Zeke's.

It all depends I suppose on whether new places of interest to you are opening at a fast enough rate to hold your attention. Coming from a similarly sized city in Ohio the pace is significantly faster and more wide-reaching over here when it comes to urban neighborhoods progressing and offering more new things to do..
