Funny story: while trying to make arrangements to be picked up from the airport I called my Dad. I asked who would be picking me up and in what vehicle. In his gruff Swedish way he told me not to worry about who or what, just be where I am supposed to be and they would find me. O.K. Dad. But he didn't tell me where THAT was. Being part Norwegien I thought I would let common sense take over. I am from Colorado so I figured I would easily spot the distinctive blue Minnesota plates on their car, standing out from the mostly green and white CO plates, um....until I stepped out of the airport and realized most of the plates were MN plates, as I was in Minneapolis. Duh.......

Umm..if you lived in the Northwest corner of the state, then that may be odd, but in case you didn't realize-the TC is right on the border with Wisconsin. Now that you mentioned it, see alot of Iowa, North Dakota and South Dakota as well, but I can never recall an Arizona plate...hmmm....

I was at Southdale yesterday and saw Pennsylvania, Oklahoma, Colorado and Nevada in a five minute period. All the Winnipegers are coming down for the cheap dollar, so I see alot of Manitoba plates too.

I was wondering why the state seems to have a better class of friendlier people lately.

ahh....considering the metro borders WI and that we have the bulk of the jobs, shopping, airport etc.... I think it is safe to say we will always see A LOT of WI plates.

Have you seen the traffic come across the I-94 bridge?

I've been noticing a lot of Virginia plates lately.

I have to drive around the TC area a lot for work and these are probably the top 8:

Wisconsin
Illinois
North Dakota
South Dakota
Manitoba
Nebraska
Iowa
Kansas
