When I was in my 20's... not that long ago...for drinking can't beat Liquor Lyles, Uptown Bar & Cafe had a friend as a barkeep there, clubbin wasn't into the dress to impress crowd went to First ave I realize its not what it once was. St. Paul is mostly neighborhood bars. I could go on and on... Christ look at the

Downtown bars along 1st ave/warehouse district etc. are pretty much the default spot. Uptown pretty much the same deal. just walk around those areas and find your scene. College crowd goes to Dinkytown.
