Isn't greed fascinating? And isn't even more fascinating when multi- multi-millionaires and billionaires (think Petters and Hecker) are so perversely consumed by their immoral and unethical greed that they go to the depths of depravity to consume more of it?

Truly fascinating.

Once again proves that the 3 rules to truly get ahead financially are still to:
(1) Kick A**
(2) Kiss A** or
(3) Be an A**

Zygi definitely has used rules 1 and 3.

Of course it won't affect the stadium. The law is already in place, the state has already said we'll pay our share, and that's that. Nothing Zygi does will affect whether the stadium is built.

I think the slick operation that was used to get the stadium is given a clarifying light by this verdict. Zygi was always this way. He just schooled some locals to play from his playbook. I wonder if his fortune is laundered dirty money.

For me, no surprise. And I didn't really know a single detail of his past dealings. But I figured there was something back there. Just surprised we learned it so early. Now all the gutless politicians have to pretend they care!!!

The next chapter of the Vikings-Wilf con game. The Wilfs want the court to seal the records of the lawsuit they lost, to prevent any public knowledge of family finances:
Vikings owners look to keep their family finances from public | Star Tribune

Meanwhile the sports facility authority appears to be rushing to a conclusion on the fiduciary responsibility of the Wilfs before the court can expose the information that might show the conclusion of their audit are without foundation.

Somehow, it looks like another attempt to break ground and spend money before the voters can wake up and protest. Meanwhile, the mayoral race is turning into a high spending affair with the conservatives being the top spenders (Dan Cohen and Mark Andrew). That, too, seems like a desperate rush to keep the coffers of Minneapolis open to those addicted to Wilfare.
