My bill went down like $5 per quarter and technically I get large item service I didn't before. Also recycling and garbage are on the same day now. So I don't have to think about pushing my cart to the curb twice a week (we don't have an alley). Overall I was thrilled with the new garbage collection. Then I remembered Joseph McCarthy and realized garbage pickup is just a communist plot to seize the means of production.

I think it’s actually an attempt to seize the means of disposal.
