With its large number of coffeehouses it definitely does not need a Starbucks, but a Yahoo maps search indicates there is one nearby at 2216 Hennepin Ave (between W. 24th & Dupont).

Dunkin has worse donuts though, but I like their coffee. You're not missing much if you ask me (I currently live where Dunkin is everywhere).

Yeah I've never been there either but there's one a block away from my place. They also serve breakfast sandwiches and stuff. I never saw the allure of donuts, myself.

You guys are kind of coffee obsessed.
What is Calhoun missing? Getting to and from there can be a bit difficult, no freeways very close to it and no light rail, yet. The trails around it are getting a bit bumpier, now, so I wish for the purposes of Razor Scootering and Rollerblading that they would resurface them soon.

I'll never forget walking into Caribou one day, getting a coffee, and picking up a napkin on my way out. I looked at the napkin and it read, "When deciding how we wanted our coffee to taste, we chose Rich and Smooth because Burnt and Bitter was already taken."

I actually laughed out loud. Best dig at Starbucks I've ever seen. (And true!)

I grew up with Dunkin Donuts; unless they radically changed their recipe (which is possible) - they make some dang good donuts. Miles better than Krispy Kreme. Krispy Kreme isn't a donut it's a circle of sugar with a hole in it.

And what Calhoun is missing is a major live theatrical/performance venue.
