Ugh, can't stand chicago thin crust. It's a cracker with melted and tomato sauce.

I'm east coast style all the way. Slice of New York is pretty good, though it's been years since I've been there.

MSP is just not all that awesome for pizza if you're an aficionado. However, what continues to surprise me is just how incredible the options are for outstanding ethnic foods. Pizza, not so much.

Dulanos is gross. It's like eating pizza from Iowa.

MSP has great coal fired pizza. Nea, Black Sheep, Punch. As good as the top rated equivalents in NYC or SF.

Pizza Luce is great for what it is. The hotdish of pizza.

Here are 10 pizza places better than Dominoes:

Hello Pizza
Pizzeria Lola
Punch Pizza
Pizza Nea
Brick's Pizza (Hudson)
Black Sheep Coal Fired Pizza (North Loop & St Paul Downtown)
Burch Steak & Pizza
Leaning Tower of Pizza
Pizza Luce
Parkway Pizza

And Chicago's Giordano's pizza could open at 2700 Hennepin Ave

Isn't Dulanos that place where Ted Nugent ate at? Or was that some other place?

Recently I have tried Chanticlear Pizza and Scoreboard Pizza in Brooklyn Center. They were both fantastic. I also actually had Chanticlear at work once they bought us pizza and it happened to be Chanticlear.

I always go for the pan/deep dish crust. I've heard Scoreboard was one of the best pizza places and best kept secrets in the Twin Cities and it was pretty freakin' amazing. Cheese was incredibly fresh and stringy. And they were very generous with the cheese and the pepporoni. One thing I will say is they're located in an icky area of Brooklyn Center in a old run down looking strip mall. And when you walk in the place doesn't that look special or anything but don't let that fool you! It is amazing!

Domino's sucks but I loved it in high school.
This thread is awesome with dudes calling around to Chicago to ask about tomatoes. I hope that really happened.
Dulano's is like if a pizza could be made out of depression and cigarette butts. When I lived in uptown I'd cross the street just so I wouldn't have to walk past that place.
