Unfortunately winter is not too far away.

Looking for a good touchless car wash to knock the salt off in the South Minneapolis or nearby area.

I, too, am looking for suggestions. I searched Yelp and didn't find a single one that didn't have big cautionary tales about damaged cars.

I know the best way to clean your car is to do it yourself, but I would prefer to pay someone to do it for me. I know I am going to get swirls in my paint etc... but I am willing to live with that since there doesn't seem to be an alternative.

So, like the OP, I am looking for a touchless car wash place, plus also a place that can seal my car 3-4 times a year (I drive maybe 20,000 a year?). So would that be a detailer who also does car washes?

Thanks!

p.s. it doesn't have to be limited to South Minneapolis only, I will drive wherever for good service.

Have you checked Perfect 10 Car Wash? It's near the border of Spring Lake Park and Blaine. They do detailing and car washes. I don't have much experience with them because it costs more than I am willing to pay for a car wash.

Any BP station will have a touchless wash. The best in that area in my experience has been the BP at 70th and France in Edina.

+1, the Downtowner is the best full service car wash in the TC, hands down. I personally don't think touchless washes do a good job getting all the dirt off your car. I've never had trouble with scratches or damage from the cloth brushes used at the Downtowner.

I've gone to Holiday a couple times. No damage, but it doesn't always get all the dirt off or fully dry the car.

I've been to the Holiday on 46th and Hiawatha. Its a very long car wash (which means if there's a line, you'll be waiting a while) and doesn't do a great job at getting everything off, but it is touchless as the OP wanted. This particular wash adjusts the spray heads for the size of your car--I had one instance where it screwed up and the spray head hit my side mirror. No damage, but I avoided this car wash after that.
