Does anyone know where I can find a job,doing most anything,and a place to live,I am a felon,been clean for 4 years,was a surgical tech for 15 plus years

I think it depends on the classification of felony. You can with some effort both find a job and a landlord. Usually small business owners and landlords are quite amenable to blemishes in history. It helps to be articulative in verbal and written explanations that you fill out on the forms, explain the circumstances, and how you learnt from them. If you can 'demonstrate' when meeting in person with good manners/accomodative spirit, you wouldn't have much trouble finding both a place to live and work.

Also, try to also find support groups. If for example you are a veteran, the recent homeless veteran program (and there are multitude of other recent veteran programs) announced by Obama and they are proving quite successful. The program is giving out cash to landlords and employers are getting actually paid for employing veterans including those with felonies.
