So just to reiterate, we're talking about a chain burger joint....do you honestly think it would make more sense to locate it on Grand Ave in St. Paul as opposed to MoA? I don't know about you, but with eateries like The Barbary Fig, Dixies, Punch, Brasa, Billy's, Bonfire, Bread and Chocolate, Caffe Latte, The Uptowner, Bravo! Bakery....Yeah...I think Grand Ave will be ok without it.

I wouldn't call it a chain burger joint, or not the type of chain you are associating Shake Shack as. They put ridiculous amounts of planning into where their locations ago. They also don't go into malls unless it's as part of an expansion/new area of the mall, as is the case with the MOA location. I'm sure they will get a location in Minneapolis proper after seeing how well the MOA location is doing.

I also agree that MOA is really headed in the right direction. The new food court is nice and new shopping options like Zara will make the mall even better. I find myself going there more.

Did you see the rest of the building? The restoration spared no expense and is absolutely beautiful.
