Greetings,

What are the recent experiences with security wait times at MSP Lindbergh and Humphrey terminals? A lot of personal and business travel is coming up. There were reports of long waits earlier this year. Thank you.

Flew out of MSP Lindbergh on Monday, July 26th, 11 a.m. flight.

Got inside the terminal a bit after 9 a.m., maybe 9:10 or so. Three of us, two with TSA Pre-check and a minor (who does not need TSA Pre-check to go through the line with us). Shortest TSA line I have seen at MSP in ... I don't know. I only fly out of MSP Lindbergh once, sometimes twice a year going back 15 years. On this trip out, the regular TSA line was even shorter than the TSA Pre-check line that we were in and we were through it and at the gate in 15 minutes.

Very strange contrast to the last three or four years, when the regular TSA line often took 40-45 minutes to get through (before TSA Pre-check was available). I am sure not the norm.

I travel often for work and I have to say MSP TSA is one of the more efficient TSAs I have seen. The other day a TSA officer even asked me how I was, in the morning rush-hour! The officer even made small talk with other travelers too while explaining to us the check rules.
Try EWR, PHL or LGA for unpleasant TSA experience!

I flew out of MSP yesterday evening. Took about 5 minutes to get through security.
