I often think when I see developers coming into St. Paul to tear down small houses to put in houses oversized for their lots that those small houses they're tearing down could be perfect for downsizing retirees. And demographics would seem to favor providing more housing for them instead of for large families that require 4,000 square feet or more.

I notice that where we live now. It is sad because that is the type of home we would like. Our needs are very simple.

The main difference between them is their relative affluence which is reflected in the type and cost of the homes.

I suggest picking the house you want to make a home in any of these neighborhoods.

Welcome to St. Paul.
Thank you.

I commend you for not being afraid of Minnesota's climate. If you can overlook that, I think you will really enjoy retirement here as the Twin Cities has a lot to offer.
St Anthony Park is great. Seems to have just about everything. Around Como Park is nice.
