Remember the "Chowhound" website? (Minneapolis: restaurants, food, design)

Hello All,

Did anyone ever post and read on www.chowhound.com? It was this amazing website where you can ask specific questions about which restaurants to go to, depending on what you kind of food, etc. you were interested in and what type of event it was. (i.e.
we're celebrating a birthday, where's a great place for Italian in the Twin Cities?) It was divided by region and cities and the
Twin Cities section was very active.

Then it was bought out and now is basically a kitchen supply website.

I'd love to re-start something similar to this on www.city-data.com. I know that there's an active following for the Twin Cities on here so if you are interested in talking about food, beverages in the Twin Cities (and which restaurants/cafes to go and which to avoid) then go to the food section of the Forum link let's see if we can get something going on here!

I am glad to have found this while searching for something similar. Still newish to Minneapolis. We were avid Chowhound users until they site redesign that still, years later, is so terrible. I'm going to go look at the food section and see if something got going.
