We are DINKS, and we are night owls. We don't throw wild parties or anything crazy, but we do enjoy late night activities and random stuff like grocery shopping when everyone else is asleep, or walking the dog at unconventional hours. However we don't like the noise and antics of kids.
So are there any places you would recommend?
Depends on your definition of "kids" really. In my book, that includes college crowd. Best definition of "kids" these days is "Millennials."

The Villages in Florida. If you want the Minneapolis area, look where the housing stock hasn't turned over. Maybe Minnetonka, definitely not Eden prarie or Maple Grove. The simple fact is the twin cities are a very family friendly area of the country to live in. Its very hard to go anywhere without seeing kids, I see plenty even in fancy restaurants.
