Also a good example of the horrible racial disparity in the city, glad i live in a city i can fully explore and i'm not "too scared to investigate" a whole corner of town

St. Paul, not the perfect city however you will never see a map similar to this Minneapolis one where a neighborhood would be too scary to explore... the East Side, Payne-Phalan area would be the closest however a large white working class population exists there.

The map is a parody. The “too scary to explore” note shouldn’t be taken any more seriously than any of the others. They are not literal description of the area.

But there is another reason you would never see a map like this of St Paul: no one’s cares enough about St Paul to take the time to make one! (Just a little good natured Twin Cities joshing there.)

I remember this map circulating on here about 5 years ago. Decently accurate, and funny too. Glad the Kmart one is out of date!

Though the city bought the place for $8 million and there are plans to redevelop the site someday, Kmart is still there at Lake St and Nicollet.

No, no, you are correct. The eyesore is still there, I was implying that it's at least being dealt with. I went into a Kmart just out of wanting to see how bad it was about a year ago. Holes in the tile, lights falling down, it was such a joke that I can't believe they made it this long....
