News organizations post the information they have available at the time they post it. Then they add more information as it becomes available. Early on, news stories did say the child fell but as time went on they were updated to indicate he was pushed or thrown.

Leave it to the nutjob right-wing fever dreamers to turn that into a conspiracy.

The latest report is that the attack was pre-planned and the victim was selected completely at random.

So the “nutjob right-wing fever dreamers” turned it into a right wing conspiracy to denigrate people of color? You are consistently incoherent.

What we need to collectively focus on are the following questions: 1- how can we provide services for people with mental health issues and 2- how do we prevent poor people from imposing their destructive behaviors in public spaces.

This incident is yet another case of a poor person with a history of criminal offenses causing a problem in a facility that caters to people who have money. I look at this no differently than the idiots who shoot into a crowd of people in a busy public space injuring (and sometimes killing) innocents while trying to hit their target.

Part of the problem is that our laws may be too relaxed for repeat offenders (such as this guy). This
incident should have never occurred. It makes zero sense.

Thoughts and prayers go out to the injured kid and his family.

As much as you need to maintain your tribal loyalties at the expense of morality, the obvious point of my post is against the linking of this act with "MOA being a hotbed of Somali crime".

I know you HAVE to defend racist comments, so I won't hold you to any higher standard.

Of course it was pre planned. Think about it. Who is at MOA at 10 am in the morning? This guy has no mental illness. He also knew that if this was a Saturday there would be a full crowd to catch his fall.

And now, you, me and others will likely get to pay for this guy through our tax dollars for the remainder of his life. Sentencing has yet to occur, but the most plausible outcome is a life sentence (he can’t afford a high powered attorney to negotiate something more favorable). He’s in his mid 20s presently, so we’re going to be paying for awhile.

It’s a loss to society all the way around, and we’re all impacted. What a shame.

I realize that you think the world revolves around you (most self-centered people do) but if you quote the post you’re referring to people won’t have to guess at what you mean.

I know you are compelled to attack anyone who speaks out against racism (why is that I wonder?), but it's pretty clear to anyone with half a brain (perhaps one of them can explain it to you) that I was speaking out against turning this horrible incident into a conspiracy theory.

Not sorry that fighting against conspiracy theories is personally offensive to you. In fact, I hope it is.
