There's a huge raft of side by side townhomes all jam packed into each other along the southern extent of 11th Ave S in Hopkins. What can people tell me about that subdivision, and about the area south of that along Smetana road?

I like the location, but being such a dense neighborhood I wanted to know if there were any issues with that area...and I'm wondering about the quality of the housing stock, the HOA, resale value & all that. I'm a bit ticked that Hopkins doesn't publish crime maps so I don't know anything about the area besides what I see.

don't know about that subdivision in particular, but the area is quite safe and resale values tend to do pretty well.

There are high association dues there and due to repairs that have to be made, many have pending assessments as well. The association dues are a whopping $299 per month. I'm sure part of the reason is that there is an in-ground pool. Some look great, others are just OK. I just got done showing several to one of my buyers. The prices are low, but when you add the association dues, it's not that great of a bargain. Think resale!
