A police statement said officers responded to a report of a "forgery in progress."
Well, see, if the police let up at all he might've reached for his pen. And, you know, started forging again!

Was he resisting arrest though? Usually the old knee to the neck move is only used in cases where the perp resists arrest no?

Wow...what the video captured is disturbing...

I am a 100% pro-cop-anti-perp citizen and am all for strong and strict law enforcement, with a necessary amount of “brutality” in practice to help perps remember and fear for the consequences of their unlawful acts...BUT, the cop kneeing the neck for that long is a cold-blooded animal who seems to enjoy killing others for personal pleasures...

He should be kneed to death for what he did so he can have a taste of his own brutality...

You know what, there should be a separate law enforcement force in place that can be called upon to limit how some animals abuse their law enforcement power.

Well lets see here! when I use my critical thinking skills that I have right here in my brain, what I do is I watch the video and im thinking darn did he resist tho??? then im watching for 10 minutes straight of no resistance im like hmmmmm ok ok, well what if he WAS resisting ? well typically in that case the good ol knee to the neck move is trained to be a temporary form of restraint in order to get the perpetrator handcuffed and secured, at which point once the resistance is stopped and he is cuffed up, the knee may at that point in time be removed from said neck. This is just me thinking out loud using common sense and reasoning though.

Cops were on an obvious power trip. The more the kids were mouthing off telling them to let up on the man the more they took pleasure in keeping him in bondge by the knee to the neck.

The cop needs to be held accountable for his actions. Though Minneapolis PD needs to brace for possible riots that may happen.

I predict that Minneapolis PD will carry the national cruelty title on behalf of this animal for many years to come, which is unfair to the thousands of other good and decent police officers.

I doubt there's particularly enough black people in Minneapolis to riot.

I can't see the video at present, but.. Reading the description.. Why were they continuing to pin him down after he was handcuffed?

And is 'bum' a local colloquialism there in Minnesota? Every quote has 'bro' or 'bum' in it..
