Have these riots officially shown that no one cares about the pandemic anymore? I feel like unless there's a huge uptick in cases/deaths in one of the riot cities then this will officially end peoples fears of it and the we'll finally move on? I doubt there will be any kinda uptick cus this all happened outside.

Too many parading around in public like we won the war, but I am afraid this country is going to be paying for it come fall.

The real enemy is winning. She doesn't care who is a cop, who is white, who is black, who is armed, who is not... more and more people will get sick from this **** and more and people losing jobs now with not only a pandemic but businesses being destroyed physically. So many stupid people. Stupid blood thirsty cops. Stupid careless rioters, many of them probably not even MN residents but they come to destroy our cities and take advantage of a terrible situation. And people will get sick.

They're destroying more than just Minneapolis...Atlanta, dallas, louisville, etc.

I feel like the only thing people will riot over in politics is white on black(the rare time it happens) crime. No one will ever riot over jobs, corporations screwing people, banks, politicians, etc....just the dumbed down race nonsense.

COVID-19 doesn’t care about your race-riot. This virus will take 1500 people a day over the next five months, then 3000 people a day through next April. And we’ll do it again over the next year. Do the math.

I support their right to destroy. Truly. Not because they're right (nor am I saying they're wrong), but in this country, we like to believe that we have a voice when we don't. Our fists, our bats, our guns, our protests (economically as well) is our voice. Literally the only one we have. And in a state of complete crony Capitali$m where money decides everything, including our politics and our elections, sometimes the way you hurt them is through destruction.

Having said that, I too wish that everyone had been in the streets much sooner. Our country is long overdue for a Tiananmen Square moment. Or 5 of them. But the issues that would go the furthest lie in class struggle, not race. Racism is a problem, sure, but even if you end police brutality, you don't cure the fact that we are on a non-stop train headed for an economically and structurally unsound place. A Brazil. An India. Where you have an extremely rich class and an extremely poor class with little to bridge the two. That's the fight you fight when you want to try to kill two birds with one stone.
