If I was a big company, I'd be looking for warmer, cheaper places to do business that want to do business with me.

The current riots have shown the state's and the city's underlying politics--unacceptable.

The K-Mart on Lake was an absolute hellhole. Comparing it to anything else on the planet is horsemanure, and you know it.

Did you know suburbs that aren't "diverse" enough (are "too white") lose federal funding dollars? Again, true statement.

Again, it doesn't take a genius to figure out that the terms "forced subsidized housing" and "third world hellhole" tend to be geared towards people of color. These were the terms that racists used to justify not wanting to live near minorities. I'm not calling you that, just saying it could be perceived that way by some (or many). Just not on C-D.

For the actual citizens who are on the ground level and live in Minneapolis - what do they think of what has transpired? Do the actual citizens support how the mayor has responded and the stance of the city council? Are they concerned by what they have seen or are they okay with what has transpired and view it as understandable?

Mayor is a biggest clown in Minnesota. He totally forgot who his electoral base is. Rioters and thugs never vote.

All I know is, that one Minneapolis resident is loading his moving van as we speak, preparing to move his entire family to another part of the US, as a result of this. He has people, whose safety he's responsible for, including an infant grandchild and a couple of elders.

I can imagine quite a few Minneapolis (and St. Paul) houses will be going up for sale in the near future as a result of this barbarism our so-called leaders encouraged and allowed.

A manufacturing company that employed 50 people in south Minneapolis is pulling out after having been in that spot since 1987.

Is this what they mean by the "Detroitiziation" of Minneapolis?
