The overt destruction of America. It's happening in every large city in the country. Suburbs are up next.

What you're seeing before your eyes is conspiracy theory coming to fruition.

We just need to rid ourselves of the current people making decisions. It has been a nice place to live but we need new people with guts and good judgement, including some of the judges. Lots of tough love.

I grew up in the 1970s. I remember The Mary Tyler Moore Show. That was my image of Minneapolis.

Minneapolis/St. Paul were fine areas until leaders told welfare recipients to come to their cities. Sure we had our share of crime but our Cities weren't the cesspools they are now. But it's not just MSP. Every major city in America has the same story.

Good luck to the good people who can't leave. Any cop who polices in Minneapolis is down right nuts. Look for new jobs. Give them the police department they want: none.

Since the proposal to cut $84 million from the police budget did not pass, the number of officers wasn’t reduced, and the $7 million in cuts, while not desirable, are less than 5% of the total budget, the statement that “they” want no police department would appear to have been made from a position of ignorance about our city.

I doubt that any part of government couldn’t cut 5% in waste from its budget.
