Well the issue with the car is this - she's going to an art school. That means lugging art supplies many blocks away, every school day and even on the weekends for studio work time. Sure, in September that may not be a big issue, but January? It wasn't an issue when she was just walking across the lawn from the dorm to the classroom. Uber every day at least twice a day is going to get expensive fast. Assume $10 a ride, x2 a day, x 6 days a week, x 4 weeks a month. That's $480 a month. Yeah, sure, maybe she'll walk some days. But uber just isn't a solution.

The car has to happen.

One of my clients owns a house across the street on Stevens, I’ll ask if any of the units will be for rent anytime soon. Another client owns 4 apartment buildings behind first clients house, I’ll ask him also.

The 2432 Stevens client said he has a 2bd for rent now for $1,550 and will have a 2bd available in Sept for $1,575.
