And, to be honest, most Democrat run cities. I think the reason these Dem mayors and governors don’t want to move on the protesters and rioters is they largely agree with the anti-police message. They believe that the police are systemically racist and that blacks are killed by police in numbers can only be explained by racism.

I gotta disagree with you Glenfield on this. In most cases I'm pretty sure their actions (or in-actions as the case may be) has nothing to due with any perceived racism of the police. The Dem's whole world has gone wacky left and these mayors are simply trying to appease this base. PURE politics.

You could be right. I don’t suppose we can truly know what’s in their hearts: do they believe it or are they simply pandering. Perhaps some believe and some are just playing along.
