I'm not buying the StarTrib's reporting that "the man’s actions at the AutoZone on East Lake Street set off a chain reaction that led to days of looting and rioting." though. There is no way to actually know that. The fire that was lit in that building after he ran off received more attention than the windows breaking.

That sounds like the red StarTrib embellishing to give cover to Gov Walz's weaksauce bleatings about "outside white nationalists" when the riots began, more than fact based hard nosed reporting.

MPD, please catch this guy before you get defunded and the social workers have to take over.

Despite Ron Perlman and Katie Sagal, I just couldn't really warm to that series, although I did stick with it for a while. But you are right, this story line would have fit in. Law and Order used to do that, write real events into the episodes quite often. I thought it kept the show more interesting.
The Star Tribune is corrupt to its very core.

A subsequent investigation revealed that the man was also an associate of the Aryan Cowboy Brotherhood, a small white supremacist prison and street gang based primarily in Minnesota and Kentucky. Several of its members were present at the Stillwater incident.

He probably doesn't really believe in that stuff and found out he could get free cookies at the gatherings.

Here is the video.

The kid that confronts him is brave.

Are you talking about the guy in the pink shirt with the pizza box? They seem to be together as there are other photos of them walking together side by side.

Oh so now you're suddenly advocating for due process? Do your media friends know you're talking like this?

At what point did I not advocate for due process?

The Hell's Angels kept a bar off on Cedar safe from anything happening to it. They also went to Cub Foods on Broadway in north to keep it safe.

So is the Minneapolis Police Union. The buzz in town is, that its president is an avowed White Supremacist. Sounds like a pretty messy place all 'round.

NOW you take the word of police as correct!!! If they had said he was a BLM or such you'd never believe them, evidence be damned- but since this one fits your narrative, the cops are to be totally believed.

Pizza box guy who says, "You want to fight me? Let's go." as umbrella man turns back to the people following him and gets in pizza guy's face? That pizza guy?
