Disbanding the PD?! Wow you have really let the criminals run the asylum. The wife and I have friends in the Twin Cities and we were considering moving there but this has made it a hard no!

Sorry to say many more will leave and the trot towards becoming a Detroit begins. I had nice house picked out in Wayzata too, I am not moving anywhere near that city at all. This whole thing has got me thinking of even moving hours away from any big city.

God Bless!

Department of Homeland Security should just keep Minneapolis at a level 4 do not travel for any reason advisory without a police system. There is going to be no one who wants to go there for vacation or business. I do not see how Mall of America will survive this. I would pay extra for a Delta flight that doesn’t connect in Minneapolis.

Move somewhere pretty: California, Boston, Seattle, Portland...

Avoid the deep south and the midwest.

Here is the kicker as I see it. I want quiet clean rural area within an hour of a major city. I don't consider an hour a long drive. Hour to hour 1:20. and I'd be happy. I'm 2 hours from downtown Chicago and 30 min from downtown Milwaukee. It's the best of both worlds.

It seems your thoughts about a great place to live changed over the past month. It is hardly rural and most definitely not quiet in the summer time! Your "friends" are either clueless or you just googled a small sized city and mistakenly took it's population as an indication of being rural.
