I think we all know why he's still on the team and it has nothing to do with hockey.
That's for sure. I'd have kept Soucy and resigned his D partner, Ian Cole. Going to miss that pairing.

He was having an all star offensive season until he tried fighting someone and tore his peck about 2-3 years ago. Hasn’t returned to half of that since. Now all his defensive failures become obvious, Brent Burns and Erik Karlsson are same examples, past primes, not scoring, and get beat multiple times per game. A friend of mine worked for prior Florida Panthers GM, he told me a few years ago Guerin was shopping Dumba for a second line center and zero teams would do it. Toronto wanted him, but wasn’t giving up Tavares who is their 2C. He also tried to trade Brodin to Panthers (my friend wanted Brodin) but wanted way too much for him, they told Guerin to F off. Seems to be a common thing in his trading attempts.

Dumba seems like a nice guy, and he probably is, but the stuff he pulled isn't anything I will ever support. Kneeling for another nation's anthem (a nation and economy that had it not existed, an NHL player like him would be making far less per year) in your nation, and standing for your national anthem, was worse than even what Kaepernick did, in my view.

He's not a bad player, but I stopped watching the Wild for a good while after some of the stuff he pulled, and still have only come back to supporting them to about half as much as i was before. I want him moved - to an NHL team in Canada, preferably, as he seems to believe his nation is so much more virtuous than ours.

Ain’t that just so Minnesota? We have the only 2 black guys in the NHL (Dumba and Greenway) who can’t fight.

Fascinating that the same people annoyed with this are often supportive Kyrie Irving's anti-vax stance.

The hometown paper has an entire staff that apparently devotes every minute they have to digging up race themed stories and/or allegations to print on a daily basis, and a lot of the Minn. contributors here on CD (including the OP of this thread) are just as bad.

My goodness people, you have one life to live......and this is the way you choose to spend it? You don't even know what you're on about most of the time. You talk just to hear yourselves. Gotta be exhausting to your system to live like that.

Oh you’re so wise, Grand One! I bow in homage to your superior being!

I didn’t start the thread….but if someone chooses to make a woke spectacle of himself I certainly reserve the right to comment on it. Again….I wasn’t the one who initiated the thread….so find a nice, dark place to stow that uppity wit.
