i used Qwest for as long as I lived on my own in MN, when in the cities, I was very happy with the phone/dsl/dtv bundle/cell phone bundle. I never had service issues at all, I wish I had Qwest where I am now. I actually have cell service still 4000 miles away and never lose signal. Dtv was great, but on those stormy july nights, it would go out for a short time, that just meant bedtime.

The U of M also has all kinds of free or very low cost events going on that anyone can go to; lectures, etc. Just keep your eyes open on the bulletin boards around school and on the U of M website.
