Does anyone have feedback about the quality of each of these schools?

I am in the process of relocating and they all look good on paper. I would like to be aware if there are some challenges around any of these schools.

I am looking for IB schools and math emphasis. The locations are all ok to reach from work in the University of Minnesota Medical Center.

I hear good things about Henry, especially the IB program. I rarely hear anything good about Fridley Middle, unfortunately. If you pay attention to online rankings of schools, both are low-ranked, but I'm guessing IB is a completely different track within the schools (it was in my high school).

Commuting to the U area is easy from any of the northern suburbs and the north side of Minneapolis.

Everyone, please keep the suggestions coming around IB and magnet schools! I did look at rankings but realize that they don't tell the whole story.

South HS in Minneapolis does not have an IB program, but they also have a solid academic reputation; I'm not as familiar with it as I am with some of the other Minneapolis schools, but a lot of U of MN neighborhood families send their kids there. It's one of those schools where the rankings most definitely do not tell the fully story.

They are 9 and 11, entering 4th and 6th grade. They currently are in an IB and Magnet school program with special math emphasis. They both are really great in math - not sure where they get that from genetically. I always loved math but was not that great in it and their dad was terrible in math until later in life when he specialized in a degree related to finance

I read about Hopkins school district as a very good one too.

Starting in 6th grade (and in some schools earlier), many schools start to move some kids ahead in math so that 6th graders might be taking 6th, 7th, or 8th grade math. So you might not need a school with a special math emphasis for your kids to get advanced instruction.
