Thanks for the advice Ben! So I'm guessing that I will have to move my car to an east/west street while the north/south ones are being plowed and vice versa? Sorry if I seem like an idiot with these plow questions!

I may just skip out on the garage altogether. I actually bought my car in Minneapolis last January when it was -10 degrees outside and I had no problems with it starting whatsoever. I just hate clearing the snow off of it!

WHOOPS! I told you wrong, Dan. It's the opposite It's the N/S streets that are plowed from 9 pm to 8 am, then the E/W streets in the day. It's a routine that we all follow: I live on a N/S street, so my neighbors who usually park in the street move their cars around the corner to the E/W street before they go to bed. Then they either leave for work before 8 am, or simply drive them back to their usual spots. It's kind of a vague, off-putting feeling that something is amiss when you look out your window and the red Honda that's usually parked across the street, and the silver Taurus usually parked next door, etc. are now parked around the corner, lined up with the other neighbors' cars, until it's OK to move them back!

You made no mention of goat paths. When do they plow those?
