What are some good highschools to attend in southern Minneapolis?

Thanks!

South and Southwest have been the most popular and highest rated in recent years. Washburn struggled for several years but it has been rapidly improving and would also be an intriguing choice. The Star Tribune recently had an article about Washburn: New life for a long-struggling Minneapolis Washburn | StarTribune.com

I agree with Slig. I have a 9th grader who just started at Southwest and he loves it. My one complaint is that class sizes are large (seems to be 37-40 kids per class). But discipline issues are generally not significant--especially in honors classes. I've also heard great things about South and agree that Washburn has made a major turnaround--while most of my sons friends went to SW, several went to Washburn (which probably would not have happened a few years ago)

I have a lot of friends who are students at Southwest, as well as a few at both South and Washburn. Southwest's IB program is often considered the best honors program in the city. Washburn definitely had a reputation compared to SW and South, but it seems to be getting better.
