My mom and I are thinking of moving to Minneapolis next year and we were wondering good places to live there?

Lots of good places here. Consider: Do you have a school in mind? What kind of community do you like? City or suburbs? Where will mom's job be?

There isn't one specific city or neighborhood in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area that is the perfect place to live, it will come down to your own personal preferences, as well as proximity to the places, things and people you want to be close to. Most regulars on here will probably tell you that where they live is a great place to live but really I think it is more accurate to say that they were successfully able to find a place to live that met all of their own personal preferences and requirements. We can do our best to help guide you to the right place to live for you and your mom, but we'll need more information to be able to do that.

Also, do you need public transportation? Renting or buying? A little more info and I bet you will get a ton more responses. I'm a riverfront condo dweller myself.
