Check out St Paul's Midway area- Snelling and University. Up and coming area - not as expensive as Highland Park, lots of shopping and some good resturants and bars (Turf Club). Close to Grand Avenue but not as many students.

Hey everyone! It's getting close to me moving to the lovely TC! I'm getting pretty excited about it. I'll be there from 6/30-7/2 to secure an apartment for my 8/1 move-in. I have some appointments set up so I feel ready for that. I had a question about good (and cheap) furniture stores. I need to get a couch and mattress set. I saw a place called Dania and Slumberland online that seemed to have some good deals, is there anywhere else? Also, what are some fun places to check out while I'm in town? I'll probably be busy most days but my nights should be free. Thanks for all you guys advice and help. I wish I could all buy you a round of beer!!!
