Sven, although his ego is a little big. Used to love Ken Barlow & Paul Douglas.

Sven is just about the only one who isn't annoying and uninformed. I really like him. Although he was definitely hired for his pretty face, he's also a weather geek and understands the science. Most of the rest of the local weather people are TV personalities, not meteorologists, and certainly not scientists. Belinda Jensen is a TV personality. The worst of the worst is the Ian guy on Fox 9. Holy jesus, is he irritating.

Paul Douglas definitely understands the science, though he has this guilt complex that we deserve lousy weather if we're blessed with nice weather for a few weeks. That gets old. Fairbourne is OK too, and gets the science to a certain extent, although he's a climate change denier. The MPR guys are very good and knowledgeable, but they're radio people, so they don't need to be good looking.

TV weather is possibly the easiest job in the world. You need only to be attractive. You stand up there and regurgitate the National Weather Service forecast; maybe change the hi/lo by a degree to make it look like you did some work. You don't even need to be correct.

We just use weather.com for weather updates. I can't stand watching people blab about the weather and pretend they actually know what they're talking about. The only weather guy that seems to actually be informed on the subject is the guy on MPR, Paul Huttner.

I liked Paul Douglas the best. The current ones are ok, but I really don't have a favorite.
