5-8, easy. Matt's was hyped to me by many when I moved here and I left disappointed.

Had a Vincent Burger (Juicy Lucy + rib meat in the center) at Target Field. Worth the long wait and outrageous cost.

Never been to the 5-8 club, but in addition to Matt's, have had Juicy Lucy's at a place downtown, a place in the high 30s or low 40s on Hiawatha Ave (can't remember the names of either of these), and at Tootie's on Lowry (on the Northside of Mpls- Lowry/Upton) which they refer to as the "stuffed burger". Tootie's has some really great burgers, but I would give a slight edge to Matt's Juicy Lucy over the Stuffed Burger- I think both Matt's and Tootie's' JL's are superior to all others I've had in the metro area though.

Is the place off of Hiawatha the Cardinal Tavern off of 38th St? The other possibility is The Rail Stop which is actually off of Minnehaha Ave around that same area.

It's hard to beat The Nook for any kind of burger in the Twin Cities although the 5-8 is nice, too. I've never actually been to Matt's though.
