:: City of Watertown, MN ::

I'm not sure what you want to know. I have driven thru that town quite few times. Its in a nice location near 2 major highways. I know there is a guy that used to sell classic cars right there in town.I'm not sure if he is still there or not. EW

For what it's worth, 10 years ago I wanted to move to Watertown. I was living in Minneapolis and was yearning for a place with a real small town atmosphere, but close to the Cities. I remember Watertown as quaint, with lovely homes and streets. I ended up moving to a small town in South Dakota.

Well its a smalltown, Ive driven through it many, many times. Not much to say. Its near 2 major highways like earthwar said.

The high school, the building it self looks pretty nice. Though I know nothing about their school district and just because the building is nice doesn't mean the school is great.
But the school does have a 9/10 at greatschools website which is great. (According to Greatschool's website, it says "Our ratings give an overview of this school's test results. They are based on a comparison of test results for all schools in the state." So that is how they determine their ratings, they don't base it on how big the school is or how nice the building is or anything)

We live a short 10 minutes away in Delano. Watertown is a quaint town, doesn't seem to have some of the amenities Delano has, but the schools are said to be good. Check into Delano too, the commute to Crystal would actually be shorter and it's a small town with excellent schools.

Delano is really cool, so is Buffalo, MN. Actually, right now as I am writing this I am at my sister's apartment in Buffalo, MN

I have friends from Watertown-Mayer. The Schools were always pretty insignificant (I grew up in STMA though, were schools were always top-notch).. the towns are small and quaint, but what's nice is that the western burbs have started to encroach so W-M feels much less like a podunk backwards farming community that it did in the 1990s.

Lol, ya I guess you can say that about all the quaint towns out of the metro like Watertown and Delano and Buffalo.
