Anyone know of any really good haunted houses weekend of halloween. Last year I was in WI with friends and went to some really good ones but I don't know of any here in MN.

I'm not sure it's open anymore but I grew up with the haunted house on the Anoka County fairgrounds in Anoka, MN. I'd probably find it lame now but back when I was going through elementary and middle school that place scared the crap out of me!

Not in Minnesota but there is the Villisca Ax murder house in Iowa, if you ever heard of the unsolved murder there that happened to a family in 1912. They never found out who the murderer was(The murderer was actually quite smart, the guy was in a small rural town though I am not sure how far neighbors were, it was 1912, no cell phones or internet or anything, not sure how common telephones where then, and it happened sometimes in the middle of the night, thinking about it, it doesn't seem like it would be that hard to get away with kind of, especially he did and no one found out until the morning.) Though thats not surprising, criminals like that are usually very smart and aren't stupid like people think of them.

Not exactly a haunted house but you can visit there and stay overnight, if I had money and people to go with and free time i'd love to go. Wonder how scared I would get The Official Site of the Villisca Axe Murders of 1912

I would suggest going to the website I posted above and reading the info and/or going to the actual websites of any that may be of interest or near where you are looking and see if they say anything about ages.
