We have about 5" now. It's still coming down but not as heavy as it was an hour ago. The kids are making snowmen right now. DH just came in from shoveling and is soaking wet.

The dusting of snow we did have has now melted. That didn't last long at all.

I was down in Madison for the football game this weekend so I missed most of the snow. Coming back, everything turned instantly white as soon as I got near Eau Claire this morning.

Wow, what a great time for my snowblower to break-down. It's going to take a few days for my back to recover from that one.

It was easier for me - I had 3 teenagers here. It'll take a few days for their backs to recover, though, heh...

I lost electricity for about half of the day on Saturday. I am guessing the heavy wet snow had something to do with it.

I lost a few lilac bushes, and my telephone wire snapped; I hope Qwest has had a chance to put in a replacement by tonight.

We've had thundersnow at least once in the Atlanta area since I moved down here, but I'm not sure I remember it happening up in MN at all...?
