In general, I'd say most Minnesotans are pretty defensive about weather.

They'll uses phrases, "oh it's not that bad" or "I love the change of seasons" or "Winter really only lasts a few months" all the time.

And the "beautiful" summers that every Minnesotan claims to have? When it humid and buggy beautiful weather?

Just trying to stir the pot here..
What's so wrong with people saying "Oh it's not that bad"... To YOU it may be bad, but the weather doesn't bother as many people as you think. If everyone hated poor weather cities like Montreal, Boston, NYC, Detroit, Mpls, Philly, and Chicago wouldn't exsist.

And the summers are awesome. Humidity? I've never been effected, it's not that bad. If you want humidity go to Houston or Atlanta. And buggy? There's Metropolitan Mosquito Patrol, pretty much has eliminated horrible mosquitos..

We had our sirens go off this morning for a severe thunderstorm warning. We got some thunder, lightning and rain but the western burbs go hail. Supposed to be in the 80's here tomorrow.

My house felt like it was shaking until about half an hour ago. Awesome lightning displays too.

Woke up to 45*f this am.

Later this week we might see 70*F, well maybe.
I think the Lake is going to keep us on the cool side of things.

80F with a dew point of 70 already this morning! Very sticky and sunny, with alot of haze in the sky. Could hit 90F today.

It feels like something you would expect before a major tornado outbreak in May. I hope not.
Sharp contrast to the weather in Duluth with the lake affect breeze keeping you cool.

You can keep that weather down south

I don't like temps over 79*F or high humidity.

just for contrast. It's warmed up to 53*F
