We still have a lot of snow to melt in SW Minnesota, the piles are still pretty tall, but nice grass patches everywhere.

54....yes, that's a 5 and a 4....degrees here currently. HOLY CRAP!

Edit: interesting tidbit....previous record high on this day was in 1981 @ 52 degrees.

47 degrees. I don't get why it's so much warmer further north! Maybe there was less snow up there?

There is less snow on the ground in the Twin Cities area than here, also I have heard before that the pine trees up north absorb the heat whereas the white fields out here reflect it back into space. We were actually warmer than much of the state this last weekend though, so it balances out.
- 47F Here BTW. If the stupid clouds would go away we would be in the 50's for sure. Sigh, at least they took snow out of the forecast for Friday (:

Walked around DT MPLS tonight with just a collared dress shirt on. Felt awesome!
