Oh, I understand all that. Doesn't mean it doesn't drive me nuts when I heard about the 30 degree temps there while I was sitting in a -35 windchill in January

It looked gorgeous outside my window about a half hour ago...but I walked out there and got slapped with what felt like some seriously frigid wind and turned right back around.

21 degrees, 9 with the windchill. Suns starting to go down.

Duluth for the past two days and nights was getting a bit windy with 30 to 50 mph winds coming off the lake, there is a park sign in Park Point that says it was so windy that Wisconson moved a bit closer

We had snow but it was just blowing around and making for almost whiteout conditions in some places, but today warmer and partly sunshine-so nice

But when we are enjoying 70's and 80's here in the spring and summer, they are stuck in the 50's and 60's with clouds on the Alaskan coast.
My sisters family used to live in the Anchorage area for many years.

True, but I'd almost prefer that to the extreme heat that can find its way up here on occasion. I guess it wouldn't be Southern Minnesota without the occasional 95-degree humid day.

Hi Mom I'll make sure to dig out my hoodies to bring with when I come visit

Currently 29 degrees with SNOW! Lots of snow falling in front of my window right now. I was going to run to town later, but.....think I'll just stay in.

32F and sunny here today. Supposed to get into the teens this weekend though flooding risk is increasing every day we stay below freezing.

I'm with you there @kazoopilot.

I have just started getting frustrated this week. Maybe it's because of the nice weather last week. Maybe it's the expected high of 10 tomorrow. Maybe it's because we're only 5 days from March. I'm not sure what it is, but this is getting pretty old.
