If there's a tornado rolling by, I'll watch anything that comes through. Otherwise, if I'm looking for real news I ignore the TeeVee and go to international sites on the Internet: BBC, Al Jazeera, RT, the Guardian, various political sites. Some of those (like RT) are total propaganda, but at least they tell us stuff the MSM manages to lose in the shuffle.

When my wife and I lived in MN, we generally gravitated to KARE -- especially their morning broadcasts.

So you don't watch local news. Ok.

I haven't found one I like over the others. If I'm watching I'll flip through the channels to find a news story that interests me. I still hate how much focus is placed on weather. I don't need to spend 10 minutes finding out that it is going to be overcast and 68 tomorrow.

If I do catch the news (which is rare), it's usually WCCO.

wcco, but for some reason we don't get their 10PM news broadcasted here in Rochester. We just get some crappy iowa station at that time instead. But I watch wcco at 5 and 6 pm.
