BUT... it is REAL tough to find a skilled workforce to provide the support structure to enable US based manufacturing (I.e. toolmakers, millrights, precision machinists). Fortunately there are currently lots of retirees looking for work, hopefully they can train younger workers in the trades, but Apprenticeships / trade schools are now few and far between in USA.

It never ceases to astonish me that the ruling class have spent the last 30 years demolishing the American economy, yet continue to believe this destruction will somehow benefit them.

It does benefit them, at least in the short and medium term. Look at the cash and other resources they're raking in!
